SBA approves Mentor-Protégé Agreement between

LHT Services, Inc. and Gibbs Construction, LLC.

The Small Business Administration has approved a Mentor-Protégé Agreement between LHT Services, Inc., a certified 8(a) firm,

and Gibbs Construction, LLC, a leader in construction industry in the Gulf Coast region

LHT Services, Inc. and Gibbs Construction, LLC are pleased to announce the approval of their Mentor-Protégé Agreement under the U.S. Small Business Administration’s (SBA) 8(a) Business Development Program. SBA has determined that Gibbs Construction (Mentor) and LHT Services (Protégé) meet the requirements of the regulations and the purpose of the Mentor-Protégé Program (MPP) cited at 13 CFR 124.520. The MPP was created to motivate and encourage large firms to assist small business entities that are certified through the SBA 8(a) program. The mentor shares expertise, resources, and capabilities with the protégé, as well as lends assistance in performing prime contracts as a joint venture partner. Through this Mentor-Protégé agreement, Gibbs Construction will provide developmental assistance to LHT Services to ensure contracting opportunity experience and overall financial viability. The agreement will foster increased collaboration between Gibbs Construction and LHT Services towards the acquisition of large-scale federal contracts.
